A little bit about Ms. Silguero

My name is Elizabeth Silguero and I am a 1983 graduate of Robstown High.  I hold an Associate Degree from Del Mar College and a Bachelor of Science Degree with a specialization in Early Childhood from Texas A&I (TAMUK). I specialize in reading intervention and I currently teach students who exhibit characteristics of dyslexia.  I teach students across all grade levels in my district. My philosophy of teaching is based on what I know and have learned at this point in my career.  I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and deliver high quality reading instruction to my students each day.  I will teach with fidelity and meet the needs of my students so that I can ultimately inspire and encourage lifelong learning through reading. This is my 28th year in education and I was recognized with teacher of the year at Lotspeich Elementary.
